Excursion tour №1 3 days / 2 nights
The program:
· "The town of 4 centuries": Introduction to the historical places in the upper and lower parts of the town, a memorial "behind the earthen-wall" cemetery: graves of the Decembrists, and A.S. Pushkin's friend V.K. Kyuhelbeker.
· Yermak's garden - a magnificent view at the lower part of the city.
· Introduction to with historical places of the lower part of Tobolsk: Polish church ( a monument of architecture of the XX century), the first state school and the Platztparade square, which is the center of the lower part of the town. Visit to the Study of the last Russian emperor, Nikolay II, who lived in exile in Tobolsk from August, 1917 through April, 1918.
· Rare Tobolsk bone-carving master workshops. It is also a good opportunity to buy souvenirs.
· "The Sign of Znamensky Abalaksky monastery" is one of the oldest monasteries in the Tobolsk eparchy, a place of pilgrimage for believers to the wonder-working icon of Abalak, "God's mother".
· Excursions to the Historical Museum, where tourists become acquainted with Spiritual Culture of the Peoples of Western Siberia; the oldest museum on the territory of Siberia with unique original exhibits about the culture of the peoples of Western Siberia. (Russian, Tatars, Khanti, Mansi).
· The Museum of Nature (fauna, flora).
· "The Tobolsk Kremlin - Pearl of Siberia": A monument of architecture of the XVII-XIX centuries. And the heart of the city includes visits to the temples of Tobolsk Kremlin.
· "Along the Iron way": Ascend the Pryamskoy in-coming road (198 steps of a wooden ladder) in fetters, like countless 19th -century prisoners did, following an old Moscow path. After ascending to the upper part of town, guests get into Tobolsk's former state prison for the tour "Tobolsk's former state Prison. Myths and reality".
